Catherine Steiner-Adair

Catherine Steiner-Adair, Ed.D., is a clinical psychologist, school consultant, speaker and author. Steiner-Adair’s current research focuses on: 1) helping schools develop programs to fortify children’s resistance to cultural trends values that promote unhealthy risk taking and anti-social behaviors 2) helping schools develop curricula and programs designed to increase children’s confidence and competence as emerging leaders and close the leadership gap for girls 3) nourishing healthy relationships in the age of technology, and 4) the impact of tech on work-family-life balance. She has also has consulted to over 350 independent and public schools, parents and students on a wide range of topics related to strengthening children’s social and emotional development, shaping school culture, and deepening parents’ connections to their children.
