PACH members Alisha Ali, Stephan Wolfert, and Bruce Homer have received a grant from the City of New York to work with corrections officers to deliver the DE-CRUIT program to inmates at Rikers Island. The DE-CRUIT program is a scientifically supported intervention that uses Shakespeare to address the effects of trauma among military veterans. The team will pilot the use of DE-CRUIT with a new 50-member unit at Rikers that will be composed entirely of military veterans.
