PACH Conversation #3: Chris Johnson on Question Bridge, Creative Expression, and Social Transformation
In the third installment of the PACH conversation series, Chris Johnson joins PACH to introduce the Question Bridge concept and video installation project, first created in 1996 for the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts. Johnson speaks about both its origins and how it evolved into the current version that opened at the Sundance Film Festival last year and is touring major museums across the country.
Prof. Johnson offers thoughts about ways in which creative expression has functioned throughout recent history as a powerful instigator of profound social and political transformations and how Question Bridge: Black Males exemplifies this process as a model of contemporary transmedia art.
