PACH Team Leads Training for New Student Seminar Leaders
In Fall 2016 and 2017, PACH trained the teachers and peer mentors of the New Student Seminar, a semester-long required course for all entering undergraduates, in the science of human connection and its application in the classroom. In 4-hour workshops, PACH founder Niobe Way and Associate Director Crystal Clarke focused on topics such as having challenging conversations about difference in the classroom and ways to listen across difference that disrupts stereotypes and underscores a common humanity.
